TabTreeApplet is a navigation applet showing a toolbar and a collection of tabs. The toolbar displays icon-buttons for most common user's actions. Tabs display explorer-like trees. The applet supports unlimited number of tabs and trees' nodes.
Contents and sub-contents are loaded as separated XMLs, allowing to handle huge trees without slowing down the web page itself.
The applet uses the latest in Java technology. Contents separated from display: . contents parsed in separated XML files, . display options as applet's parameters. ... Therefore one can either choose alternate tools for displaying the contents thanks to DTDs (Document Type Definitions) bundled in the respective XML file.

TabTreeApplet 1.0 was released by XLReader Project on Sunday 19 January 2003. Its known requirements are : Browser with Java VM 1.4.0+.
